Not four, so there are only four edges...and even if the OP found 30" four panel units, cutting 1/2" off multiplied by eight edges would result in a 26" wide door.
You *can* trim them down, but do the math properly and use a table saw to do it...trying to cut them down with a straightedge and a hand held saw is a great way to screw up a perfectly good door.
Better yet, don't screw around with Home Depot- just go to a store that specializes in doors and windows and order a 28" bifold...that is a totally stock size and readily available.
Bi-fold doors general question
I went to home depot with some measurements and one of the guy who seemed like he knew what he was talking about recommended something that doesnt sound right......
I have an opening of 56.5" The guy from home depot said to buy two different bifold door packs.. One 15" and one 12" those measurement might be off a bit but its the idea that Im curious about. He said to take one of the 12's and match it uo with one of the 15. Put them together usinng the hinges. So on one side you will have a 12 + 15 then the other side you would have a 15 + 12.
